Operation Countryserve
Visit to Central West NSW 9-11 March, 2007
35 SWAC people visited about 56 families in the Parkes/ Forbes/ Tullamore region travelling up on Friday 9 March and returning on Sunday 11th.
The team came home rejoicing at the privilege of serving others in Christ's name. Those in
the bush rejoiced at being remembered by God’s people. Neil Prott reports … “The weekend
was an inspiration (and challenge) to the team and a boost to those fighting the drought.
There were many good conversations and, by all accounts, not one negative reaction. In
particular, the Christians were encouraged because our efforts in the name of Christ have
shown other locals that our faith has legs.
This letter is typical of numerous expressions of thanks to all who have contributed and worked to make the event happen. I have continued to labour the point that what was done 'out there' was a direct result of what God's people did 'back here'.”

Dear Neil Prott and your team of wonderful givers
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to you all for your tangible gift of
food and essentials for our home. The drought has been devastating for us —
especially with such a young family (3 boys aged 4, 2, and 2 months). Life on the
land has had its hardships, but we have remained confident through it all that our
Heavenly Father will supply our every need (Phil 4;19). We can only be humbled
by your giving and know that the provision is of the Lord — our comforter,
stronghold, source of amazing peace and the ultimate provider.
May the Lord bless you all for thinking of us and for your encouragement during this time - surely “great is your reward in heaven.” (Mt 5:12)
With love from Andrew, Joanne, Joshua, Benjamin & Isaac
